Carlton Curtis was born on 26th November 1973 in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
Between 1993 and 1995 Carlton attended Joseph Chamberlain College where he studied A-Level dance, theatre studies and performing arts.During his two years of study, Carlton fitted in a tremendous display of love for the Arts in all aspects.

In 1993 he received a Princes' Trust business initiative award for the choreography and
direction of " Exposure ", a dance promotion company helping to discover hidden dance talents of inner city youths. 1995 saw Carlton collaborate with fellow musicians, Andy Cox of the " Fine Young Cannibals ", Paul Foad of the " Au Pairs " and Kevin White of " The Beat. "

In 1998, Carltons prolific songwriting abilities came to the fore when his words came to life on stage at Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in Birmingham, UK. The audience reaction was overwhelming! -The show was a complete sell out.

Carltons musical influences are various, and include Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, U2 and Leonard Bernstein,
as well as more current artists including Arctic Monkeys and The Magic Numbers.

Carlton focuses all his physical and mental energies into his work, which enables him
to be a multi talented Songwriter, Vocalist
and Dancer with a magnetic personality and sense of humour,who has truly passed his apprenticeship.
